"KEEP MUBAS CLEAN" CAMPAIGN BEARING FRUIT

The Malawi University of Business and Applied sciences (MUBAS) has launched a keep MUBAS clean campaign which is aimed at removing any waste found on the campus.

The campaign has started bearing fruit as the University has put in place trash cans as well as mobile bins to aid in reducing litter found at the university.

Speaking to one of the students, Response Banda, said the initiative has come at the right time since the university was filled with plastic waste from student's food packaging items.

The University launched the campaign on the 8th September and was pioneered by the University's dean of students. The university has so far put in place 5 mobile bins on top of the already installed 7 trash cans.
