New WhatsApp update described as "The Pinnacle of user preference"


Whatsapp has been one of the major dominators of the social media platform industries with an estimated +15 million users worldwide. 

Whatsapp offers features such as sending of voicenotes, Video messages, video calls, audio calls, sharing of documents, audios and pictures among others. And this revolutionalized the social media platforms. Although other platforms such as Ablo and Twitter offer the same features, Whatsapp has dominated because of it's user friendliness and vast features.

Just a few days ago whatsapp has introduced a new feature whereby a whatsapp user can view updates from various public figures without the need to save have the phone contact or phone numbers as it was before. With this feature people can subscribe to football teams of their liking, Musicians, Actors and even athletes.

This feature will guarantee timely information as well as accuracy of information.

    I feel like its a great development in terms of business people for it will be easy for them to reach out to larger numbers of customers even though they don't have to directly contact them.

    The update though it is seems as a step forward fo whatsapp itself in terms of growth, it makes me wonder if whatsapp is losing site of its identity as a simple messaging app that we all loved and not some social app where you have groups of faceless people. Just something to think about.

NALIKULE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION STUDENTS IN HOT SOUP

Students at Nalikule college of education are destitute after being forcefully asked to leave the campus today. Powell Ndovie, one of the students representative at the institution, said the gate to the campus is closed and they have no money to return to their respective homes hence they have been forced to sleep at the gate.  This is so, after the management at the institution called upon the police to escort the students out of the premises as the students weren't any signs of leaving the campus. The issue has come into play as the schools' administration had announced earlier that the school will open on 3 September but due to undisclosed reasons, the opening date has changed to 18th October.   Are the adminstrations actions justified?!
